FULL TIME Pilates Instructor

About the role

Riser Fitness is seeking a Pilates Instructor to join our team. Positions are full-time with potential for flexible schedules and additional income opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions using a variety of Pilates equipment including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and others.
• Ensure safety and creativity in each class while providing modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations.
• Stay current with Club Pilates education standards and develop class plans that meet the program's requirements.
• Provide Pilates instruction, including Intro classes, group apparatus classes, and private/semi-private training as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 200-450 hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
• Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities.
• Professional and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, particularly Pilates.
• Passion for learning and attendance at continued education trainings and seminars.
• Punctual and reliable.

Qualifications

• Passport required for international travel.

Skills

• Strong understanding of Pilates principles and techniques.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different levels of fitness.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with various Pilates equipment.

Pay

$40.00-65.00 per class or more depending on experience. Negotiable for qualified talent.
