About the role
Riser Fitness is seeking a full-time Pilates Instructor to join their team. Positions are available at multiple locations, with compensation ranging from $40.00 to $65.00 per class or more depending on experience. Riser Fitness is a leading developer of the Club Pilates franchise system, with over 100 locations in the U.S. and Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Teach group classes and private/semi-private sessions using a variety of Pilates equipment including Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, TRX, Magic Circle, and others.
- Ensure safe and creative group experiences by using proper technique and providing modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations.
- Stay current with Club Pilates education standards and implement them in class plans.
- Create and deliver safe, effective, and challenging Pilates classes, including Intro classes and group apparatus classes.
- Provide Pilates instruction as scheduled, and perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 200-450 hour comprehensive Pilates education, including Mat and Reformer training.
- Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated group Reformer instruction abilities.
- Professional and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, particularly Pilates.
- Passion for learning and attending continued education trainings and seminars.
- Punctual and reliable.
