Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and implementation of physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
- Assist patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
- Communicate with patients about their treatment and document patient conditions and responses in charts after each session.
- Interact with Physical Therapists, Directors of Rehab, and facility staff to ensure effective patient care.
- Operate and utilize knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state where you will be working.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
