Responsibilities

  • Aid in developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
  • Assist patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
  • Communicate with patients about their treatment and document patient conditions and responses in charts after each visit.
  • Interact with Physical Therapists, Directors of Rehab, and facility staff to ensure effective communication.
  • Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
