About the role
We’re seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support medication order entry and customer service at our closed-door pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Triaging customer requests by department and urgency
- Calculating and verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
- Assisting with timely narcotic prescriptions review
- Providing pharmacists with allergy, drug interaction, and duplication information
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and quality in medication dispensing
Qualifications
- Certification/licensure as required by state law
- At least one year of pharmacy technician experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred skills
- Experience in long-term care
- PTCB certification
Pay
Competitive pay range of $17.00 – $28.46 per hour
