Full Time/Part Time/PRN Physical Therapist Assistant - Brandon/Riverview/Valrico, FL

About the role

Rehab Solutions is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in the Brandon/Riverview, Valrico, FL areas. Responsibilities

• Aid in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
