About the role

Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY and a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is seeking a Cashier to join its Food & Nutrition services team. This is an opportunity to work in a highly respected and recognized hospital with a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical and money management tasks in retail areas
• Ensure client and customer satisfaction in an efficient and safe manner
• Demonstrate professional behavior at all times

Requirements

• Food service and customer service experience is required
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to read and write

Pay

Pay Range: $16.20–$23.50 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary based on location.
