Full Time / Part Time Nanny

About the role

As a Back-up Nanny, you will care for children in-home. You will not be required to transport children, and household duties are limited to common-sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child. You’ll support families needing care for children ranging from infants through toddlers, with the highest demand for children under the age of 2. Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on, age-appropriate activities based on your observations of their development.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home (no transportation required)
• Perform light clean-up related to activities or meals with the child
• Support families with children from infants to toddlers (highest demand for under age 2)
• Lead hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities
• Communicate effectively with staffing supervisors and families

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children (paid or unpaid), with mandatory infant experience
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness and ability to travel to various homes in the area
• Availability for any 3 or more weekdays, 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
• Commitment to responsiveness and a positive attitude

Pay

$18–$20 per hour.
