Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants with local families throughout Northridge. This is a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking a rewarding full-time or part-time nanny job with daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.

Pay

$20-22/hour + overtime pay

Schedule

Monday-Friday availability preferred. Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Typical shifts are 6-9 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
• Communicate with parents about their child’s day
• Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow
• Work with vetted local families

Requirements

• At least 1 year of infant childcare experience (may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings, excluding experience with family and friends)
• Love working with infants
• Dependable and professional
• Strong communication with parents and children
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• At least 2 childcare-related references and 1 character reference
• At least 18 years old
