About the Role
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants with local families throughout Pasadena. This is a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking a rewarding nanny job with daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.
Pay: $20-22/hour + overtime pay.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
- Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
- Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
- Communicate with parents about their child’s day
- Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow
Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Typical shifts are 6-9 hours. Monday-Friday availability preferred.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience (nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings; excludes experience with family and friends)
- Love working with infants
- Dependable and professional
- Strong communication with parents and children
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- At least 2 childcare-related references and 1 character reference
- At least 18 years old

Full-time or part-time positions available. Work with vetted local families; assignments vary based on family needs, your availability, and scheduling preferences. Most assignments involve infants and toddlers, though opportunities may occasionally include older children.
