Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy services to residents to promote independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Assess residents' functional abilities and develop goals to address their specific needs.
• Document progress and communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new developments in occupational therapy.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
