Full-Time Nursing Faculty (BSN Required)
About the role
Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a Full-Time BSN prepared Nurse to teach at our Indianapolis Campus.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting
- Promote a positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively to assure full implementation of the curriculum
- Participate as members of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees
- Recommend strategies for student success
- Tutor students to assist in meeting course objectives
- Implement the clinical experience component of the program, if applicable
- Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress and provide valuable feedback
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- Three or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
- Active IN RN license that has never been encumbered.
- Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year Nursing Lecturing experience at an accredited University is strongly recommended.
