About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed in Long Island, NY to join our outpatient infusion center team. This is a hybrid role (2 days onsite, in the center) dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through a combination of hands-on infusion services and clinical oversight functions. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.).
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication.
• Resolve clinical escalations in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence-based standards, and organizational policies.
• Order and maintain medical inventory and supplies.
• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation.
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across the region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment; experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
