Full-Time Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient assessments (history, symptoms, guided physical exam where appropriate)
- Diagnose and manage GI-related conditions in alignment with clinical protocols
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and care team
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to supervising physician as needed
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record
- Participate in case reviews, chart audits, and team meetings
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in the United States, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses (Cylinder will cover costs as needed)
- Experience managing patients with chronic conditions or in a GI specialty (e.g., IBS, IBD)
- Ability to practice independently within scope, while collaborating effectively with supervising physician and care team
Qualifications
- Prior telehealth experience
- Multistate licensure
- Experience with motivational interviewing or patient-centered counseling approaches
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish strongly preferred, other languages a plus)

Hiring Timeline
We're intentionally hiring ahead of our clinical expansion. Rather than waiting until launch, we invest in our providers by beginning paid employment during the licensing, credentialing, and onboarding process. During the first phase of employment, you'll be compensated while completing: Multi-state licensure (company paid), Credentialing and enrollment. As licensure, credentialing, and operational readiness are completed, providers will transition into clinical training and begin caring for Members. We anticipate increasing clinical responsibilities beginning around November–December 2026, with a transition to regular clinical schedules thereafter.
