We are seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join Albany Gastroenterology Consultants. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, working closely with our team of physicians and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat gastroenterology patients using pertinent medical and drug information
• Perform duties accurately in a timely and efficient manner
• Demonstrate exemplary patient service skills, displaying courteousness and respect
• Maintain patience under occasional stressful situations
• Follow HIPAA and OSHA laws and safeguards at all times
• Utilize electronic medical records, MS Office, and other computer systems
• Manage time effectively and stay organized

Requirements

• Current NY Nurse Practitioner License in good standing
• DEA certification
• Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Has, or is eligible for, hospital privileges
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Primary Care or GI experience a plus
