Full Time Nurse

Job Summary

American Endovascular is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join their team in the Queens (LIC) location. Ideal candidates should have experience in Critical Care, Emergency Room, ICU, or Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab, with a passion for improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for patients in Pre, Intra and Post Op settings
• Administer medications and moderate sedation as directed by the physician
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and perform venipuncture and specimen collection
• Educate patients on their care and recommend process improvements
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and reagents
• Order supplies, confirm accuracy of deliveries, and assist with cost control
• Evaluate patient status during and after procedures, administer medications and lab tests
• Clean, transport, and store reusable medical equipment
• Record diagnosis, treatment plans, progress notes, and doctors' orders in patient charts
• Coordinate and participate in patient follow-up care
• Ensure compliance with inspections and maintain a state of readiness

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Critical Care, Emergency Room, ICU, or Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab
• Intra op monitoring experience preferred
• Conscious sedation/moderate sedation certification a plus

Pay

Salary will be based on experience.
