Full Time Night Warehouse

Johnson Brothers is a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, delivering exceptional service since 1953. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker for our new facility in Garner, NC.

About the role

This is a full-time night shift position in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for picking, packing, truck loading, and shipping alcoholic beverage products while adhering to safety regulations and industry compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Issue, receive, pick, and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory.
• Proper usage of scanning devices to pick and ship products.
• Maintain set work standards for picking orders.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment, including forklifts.
• Load product into delivery trucks, ensuring proper loading to minimize damage during transport.
• Check products and packaging for quality prior to shipping.
• Ensure all damaged products are properly removed from inventory and handled in accordance with procedures.
• Review orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.
• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols.
• Perform other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently, be self-managed, and motivated to meet deadlines.
• Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent experience.

Skills

• Order fulfillment and palletizing.
• Forklift operation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet productivity goals while ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
