Job Responsibilities
- Assist certified NDT Technicians with inspections and testing activities
- Support setup, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment
- Prepare work areas, materials, and inspection tools
- Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas
- Travel locally to job sites as needed within the area
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or lead technicians
Requirements
- Previous NDT Assistant experience is required
- NDT students currently enrolled in or recently completed an NDT program are welcome to apply
- Must be local to the Savannah, GA area
- No relocation assistance is available for this position
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel locally when needed
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or refinery environments
- Current safety certifications are a plus
- Experience supporting RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT inspections preferred
