Full-time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer

About the role

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking at Mondelēz International. Full Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer positions are available to fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, and maintaining or changing out displays.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and build relationships with in-store employees and sales representatives to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and construct promotional displays.
• Carry out in-store visits following Mondelēz' DSD Merchandising Steps, capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order product (via iPad Tablet) for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Maintain or change out displays of Nabisco leading brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, among others) according to Mondelēz' guidelines.
• Ensure that sales representative's negotiated plans with store managers are followed and report any issues to Mondelēz' management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to ensure efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver's license.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• A positive and professional attitude, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle to various store locations and perform hard work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within a 25-35 mile range from the primary location (South Austin, TX) or secondary location (Dripping Springs, TX).

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of Mondelēz' guidelines and merchandising steps.

$20.79 per hour

Schedule

Five days per week with at least one weekend day required; start by 5 am
