Join Lap of Love as an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Suffolk County, NY and surrounding areas. We offer flexible 2-5* day-per-week schedules, an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day, and comprehensive onboarding and ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work with a supportive community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

• 4-day positions starting at $117,500
• 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities
