Veterinarian

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care in client homes
• Work with clients to understand their pet’s needs and preferences
• Ensure all procedures are performed with compassion and respect
• Document patient care and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Stay updated on best practices and industry trends

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay

Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
