About the role

Veterinarian-founded and owned, Lap of Love offers an alternative to in-clinic practice that prioritizes both professional fulfillment and personal freedom. As a mobile veterinarian, you'll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during one of life's most meaningful moments.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work with a supportive team of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals
• Enjoy flexible 2-5* day-per-week schedules
• Experience gratitude at every appointment
• Receive ongoing training and personalized mentorship

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay

Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Springfield, MA area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
