Responsibilities

  • Perform all branch functions including consumer lending, opening new accounts, and providing teller services.
  • Strive for and hit sales and service goals while keeping members’ best interests front and center.
  • Contribute to team successes and celebrate achievements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with members.
  • Understand members’ journey and offer products and services to meet their unique needs.
  • Show empathy and assist team members and teammates as needed.
  • Maintain a fun and positive work environment.

Requirements

Member Consultant I

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a financial institution or retail/service‑related position.
  • Computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Willingness to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and to maintain and renew the registration annually.

Member Consultant II

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a financial institution processing consumer loans, new accounts, and member transactions.
  • Computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Willingness to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and to maintain and renew the registration annually.

Bonus points for credit union experience, two (2) years of college (for MC II), cash‑handling or lending experience, and familiarity with Symitar, Meridian Link, Image Center, Application Xtender, or Coconut.

Pay

Member Consultant I: $24.41 – $36.61 per hour, dependent on qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package. Target starting pay $24.41 – $30.51 per hour.

Member Consultant II: $27.30 – $40.95 per hour, dependent on qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package. Target starting pay $27.30 – $34.13 per hour.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 5:45 pm, full‑time minimum 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility required to meet branch needs.
