Position Overview

The Medical Assistant serves as a key link between patients and providers, supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect, label, and process specimens
  • Maintain exam rooms and ensure efficient patient flow
  • Communicate effectively with patients in person and via telephone
  • Support laboratory recordkeeping and routine safety checks
  • Provide patient education with compassion and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education/Training: Medical Assistant training (CMA/RMA preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Experience: Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

Employment Requirements
