Full Time Material Handler

About the role

American Welding & Gas Inc has an immediate opening for a Material Handler at our in‑facility location in Beaumont, TX. The position is responsible for efficiently loading and unloading products for customers and internal branches on a daily basis, while ensuring accurate tracking of materials as they enter and exit the facility.

Responsibilities

• Transfer cylinders and cylinder bundles onto pallets for storage or delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
• Load and unload cylinder transfers onto trucks and trailers, following provided load lists.
• Organize and manage full and empty assets on‑site to ensure optimal storage and access.
• Perform extensive outdoor work in various weather conditions, handling materials as required.
• Utilize mobile‑phone‑based equipment to accurately track the movement of assets into and out of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Technical skills.
• Computer skills.
