Full-Time Manager in Training (Merritt Drive, Greensboro, NC)

About the role

This is a fun, low‑stress position with a variety of duties. Prior self‑storage or real‑estate experience is not required. As a Manager in Training you will work both inside the leasing office assisting customers and outside on the storage site keeping the facility clean and neat. You will receive training from an experienced Property Manager on all office paperwork, preparing you for a promotion to Property Manager. This role offers a great starting point for a career with a highly successful and growing real‑estate company. The position is based at the American Flag Storage Centers, 1102 Merritt Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the office open during office hours
• Answering the phone
• Collecting rental payments
• Leasing self‑storage units
• Assisting customers with general storage needs
• Training with an experienced Property Manager on office paperwork
• Sweeping out storage units when tenants move out
• Picking up small trash on the lot
• Keeping common areas clean and neat
• Learning to properly supervise maintenance contractors on large jobs alongside the Area Manager

Requirements

• Willingness to work with the public and provide excellent customer service
• Willingness & ability to do basic office cleaning, walk the property, pick up small trash, roll up storage doors and sweep units
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must own reliable transportation
• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License
• Clean background check, pre‑employment drug screen & physical required

Pay

Bi‑Weekly paychecks + monthly bonus

Schedule

Normal business hours, 8:30 am – 6 pm (may include some Saturdays for relief coverage); full‑time position, 40 hours per week minimum, with limited overtime available.
