Full-time Male Chaplain

About the Role

The Chaplain is responsible for providing comprehensive Christian pastoral ministry to the residents and staff of the correctional facility. The Chaplain also provides other services to inmates, staff, public officials, and the community that will enhance the overall ministry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Christian pastoral care and spiritual guidance to incarcerated individuals and facility staff.
• Facilitate worship services, Bible studies, and other faith-based programs within the correctional facility.
• Provide counseling, support, and crisis intervention to residents and staff as needed.
• Engage with public officials, community members, and external stakeholders to strengthen the ministry’s outreach and impact.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to integrate faith-based initiatives into the broader correctional environment.
