Full Time Maintenance Engineer/Shuttle Driver

Hilton Garden Inn Laramie, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group, is seeking an energetic, experienced, and hands-on Maintenance Engineer/Shuttle Driver to join our team. Responsibilities

• Oversee the property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Paint, replace electrical accessories, and maintain HVAC systems
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Respond to and fulfill maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
• Drive passengers in shuttle van

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• One (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines (preferred but not necessary)
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry
• Clean MVR record
• Must be able to work nights and weekends

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods standing and walking
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
• Must be able to visually inspect machines
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be eligible to drive shuttle van to and from airport

Pay

$18.00 per hour
