Full Time Maintenance Director

About the role

Oaks Senior Living is recruiting a Maintenance Director for their Oaks at Tucker community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a Maintenance Director in a long-term care setting, a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and a passion for working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Cook up and oversee residence maintenance services
• Keep the residence and grounds in good repair
• Inventory and order maintenance supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Prepare vacant rooms/apartments for new residents
• Respond promptly to all repair needs

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience as a Maintenance Director in a long-term care setting preferred
• Possess an understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Desire to work with older adults
• Must be able to react in an emergency situation
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have a satisfactory criminal history check
• Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician
• Must have a negative drug screen
