About the role
Gila Health Resources is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Healthcare Tech for its Bagdad, AZ clinic. The position involves rooming patients, conducting various tests, and performing administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conducting vitals, audiometric, vision, pulmonary function, respirator-use, functional capacity, and fit-for-duty testing
- Certified drug and alcohol testing
- Intake tasks including greeting patients, providing and processing paperwork, setting appointments, answering phones, etc.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work as a reliable member of a high-performing healthcare team
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and meet deadlines
- Punctuality
Qualifications
- Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Experience as a Healthcare Technician is acceptable

Pay
The hourly pay-rate for this position starts at $17.00. A higher rate will be considered for qualified applicants with proven experience.
