About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. This is a field/community RN role that requires driving throughout Kern County to provide psychiatric care to our members.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medical treatment, including medications, as prescribed by the physician.
  • Provide psychiatric care to members in the community.
  • Drive throughout Kern County to deliver services.
  • Use your personal vehicle to transport clients to appointments and groups.

Requirements

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of program operations.
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle for client transportation.

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $48.72 - $60.18 per hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges, and the assigned range will depend on the location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Schedule

  • Full-Time | AM Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
  • Shift Differentials: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift.
  • Weekend Shift Differentials: 5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift.

About the Program

Telecare FSP is an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program serving up to 170 MHSA and AB109 individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) who have not responded well to traditional outpatient behavioral health care. Clients referred to this program receive a comprehensive array of ACT services and supports.
