Full-Time Line Cook (Not At This Time)

Responsibilities

• Implement productivity, quality and customer service standards.
• Avoid legal challenges by enforcing alcohol regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission.
• Ensure the smooth flow of the scheduled shift.
• Work with and supervise FOH and BOH employees while maintaining required standards of the restaurant.
• Schedule hourly employees.
• Order and receive food and beverage deliveries.
• Open and close the restaurant.
• Watch and work within the restaurant budget.
• Evaluate and control food and beverage costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation, minimizing waste.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to read, write and speak the primary language of the work site.
• Must have a degree in hospitality management or five years on the job experience.
• Must be able to work in excess of 8 hours a day or 50 hours a week.
• Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds of weight.
