About the role
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapists in Southern New Jersey to provide In-Home and Center-Based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse population of children and adolescents with exceptional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing individual In-home therapy and Telehealth therapy sessions.
- Performing bio-psycho-social assessments is a plus.
- Implement coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
- Mentor newly hired therapists and interns, providing guidance, feedback, and support in clinical practices.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.).
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields.
- Active license in New Jersey (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT); candidates with out-of-state licenses may be considered if reciprocity applies.
- Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with youth with mental health disorders.
- Experience mentoring, supervising, or training junior therapists and interns.
- Has Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training.
- Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training (e.g. CSOC Training).
- Has post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience.
- Experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, DBT, Trauma Response, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused.
- Knows how to use the DSM-5-TR for Assessments and Diagnosis.
- Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20, and working with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
- Must pass all state and federal background checks.

Pay Range
$60 - $75 per hour
