FULL TIME LECTURER HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY- BOSTON UNIVERSITY
About the role
The Department of Health Sciences at Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College invites applications for a full-time Lecturer (non-tenure track) to join the Human Physiology program. This is a full-time, renewable, non-tenure track appointment that begins Fall 2024.
Responsibilities
- Teach 3 courses per semester
- Advising undergraduate & graduate students
- Engage in service
- Manage the Field Experience practicum course each semester
- Teach courses in physiology and/or research such as: Clinical Trials & Industry Insights, Techniques of Scientific Presentation, Bias in Research and Medicine, Neuroanatomy & Neurophysiology, Physiology across the Lifespan, Renal Physiology, Cardiovascular Pathophysiology, Pulmonary Pathophysiology, and/or other related/created courses
Requirements
- A terminal degree (PhD, MD, etc.) in a biological, physiological, or health science field is required
- Advanced ABD (or equivalent) will also be considered
- Teaching or mentoring experience at the college/university level is required
- Interest and/or experience in undergraduate student advising is required
- Experience in academia, the life sciences industry, or medicine is preferred

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 40 hours per week.
