About the role

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at Highpoint Apartments in Omaha, Nebraska. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional living experience for our residents and are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering outstanding customer service, and helping prospective residents find their next home.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face of the community while supporting leasing efforts, resident relations, and property marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct apartment tours and showcase the benefits of the community to prospective residents.
  • Qualify prospective residents and assist with the leasing process.
  • Prepare leasing documentation and complete move-in procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
  • Maintain positive resident relations and assist with resident retention efforts.
  • Participate in resident events, promotions, and community activities.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses through outreach marketing efforts.
  • Represent the community in a professional and positive manner.
  • Aid in marketing initiatives and leasing campaigns.
  • Conduct market research and monitor local apartment market trends.
  • Create and process resident work orders.
  • Deliver notices throughout the property as needed.
  • Ensure vacant apartments and community amenities are tour-ready and well-presented.
  • Participate in staff meetings and team initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with onsite team members to achieve leasing and occupancy goals.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • 2 years of residential leasing experience.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable transportation for local outreach marketing activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer and office equipment proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to walk the property daily and conduct apartment tours, including navigating stairs as needed.
  • Experience with multifamily housing communities.
  • Marketing or outreach experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills.
  • Experience with property management software.
