Full-Time Kitchen Team Member – Locals' Market
About the role
Locals' Market in Dillsburg is seeking a dependable, energetic person to join the kitchen team full‑time. The kitchen is known for fresh sandwiches made throughout the day, plus other prepared and grab‑and‑go foods. The store is open 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with lunch being the busiest period. The ideal candidate enjoys staying busy, takes pride in making great food, and works well as part of a team during rushes.
Schedule
The position requires availability for a mix of shifts between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Weekend availability may be required. Dependable availability during the late morning and lunch hours is especially important, as that is the busiest time of day.
Pay & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with a weekly pay cycle. The starting rate is $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications
Restaurant, deli, or kitchen experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person. More importantly, we want someone who:

Responsibilities
You’ll do the following:
- Make fresh sandwiches and other menu items quickly and consistently
- Prep meats, cheeses, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients
- Keep the sandwich station stocked and ready, especially heading into the lunch rush
- Take and prepare customer orders accurately
- Prepare grab‑and‑go and other kitchen items
- Help with opening, closing, and daily kitchen prep
- Keep workstations, equipment, and the kitchen clean and food‑safe
- Wash dishes and help with general kitchen cleanup
- Jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly
