About the role

The role involves opening and closing the store in accordance with company policies and procedures, leading the store team as part of management, providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, assisting in inventory control, restocking, and merchandising, ensuring store cleanliness and safety standards are upheld, supporting loss prevention efforts, and reporting any unusual activity. Additionally, the role requires engaging with store teams and customers professionally and respectfully, training and mentoring new associates as needed, and acting in a respectful manner to customers, managers, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team as part of management
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Aid in inventory control, restocking, and merchandising
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards are upheld
• Support loss prevention efforts and report any unusual activity
• Engage with store teams and customers professionally and respectfully
• Train and mentor new associates as needed

Qualifications

Physical requirements include the ability to move around the store throughout the shift/workday, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly, squat/kneel, and use a ladder, step stool or raised platform safely to complete required tasks.
