Full-Time Intensive Care Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing comprehensive patient care as a registered nurse, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families. Responsibilities include assessments, developing care plans, medication administration, wound care, vital sign monitoring, respiratory management, documentation, and discharge planning.

Key Duties

• Administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs.
• Manage respiratory and ventilator needs.
• Coordinate care across disciplines for seamless patient treatment.
• Utilize electronic systems for patient condition documentation.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications And Skills

• RN licensure (Tennessee or compact state).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months; specialty certification preferred.
• One to two years of clinical nursing experience, ICU experience preferred.
