Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,835 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin.

About the Role

• 13-week contract with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units; possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Low census possible in 4-hour increments; contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Care for Neuro ICU patient population including stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients in an 8-bed Neuro unit
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Assist with bolt and drain bedside placements alongside the Neurosurgery team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU with strong Neuro assessment skills
• 1 prior travel assignment preferred
• Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist is a plus
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color: Any color
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

• Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,835
• $500 contract completion bonus
