Full Time Instructor, School of Nursing - MSN Required
Responsibilities
- Instruct courses in various modalities using evidence-based teaching strategies.
- Facilitate and evaluate simulation experiences aligned with course outcomes and best practices.
- Create engaging simulation activities, scenario-based learning, and community building.
- Support student success through faculty availability and regular communication.
- Participate in curriculum and assessment development and implementation.
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Active Illinois RN license with no encumbrances.
- At least 1 year teaching experience preferred.
- One year clinical experience as an RN required, two years preferred.
- Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Mastery and ability to articulate and relate to students.
- Clarity, relevance, and connection of class session objectives to course performance.
- Organized classroom and efficient use of class time.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
- Proof of professional licenses/certifications, official transcripts, and applicable faculty immunization documentation required.

The estimated salary range for this role is $69,400.00 to $93,700.00, with a focus on individual starting pay based on job and level hired into, location, skill set, experience, and training.
