Full-Time Inpatient Registered Nurse

Role Overview

Provide comprehensive nursing care within the Newborn Nursery/Level 1 department, ensuring patient safety and quality care across various age groups. Serve as a clinical leader, offering guidance to staff and assuming relief charge responsibilities when designated.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, direct patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with tests and procedures.
• Administer medications, including IVs.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Answer inquiries.
• Foster a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Participate in orientation and precepting.
• Promote patient safety by adhering to policies and proactively identifying risks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in NM or reciprocal.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Optional certification in specialty areas.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
• Physical ability to perform heavy work and work in environments requiring PPE due to biohazards.
