About the role

We are looking for an Infusion Nurse who is passionate about raising the bar in infusion therapy care. The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company’s growth by providing direct patient care at our clinic in Durham & Cary, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document the health status of the patient
  • Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
  • Avoidance of medication errors and ensuring patient safety
  • Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
  • Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
  • Provide onsite supervision for all patients

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in North Carolina, and open to getting licensure in another state
  • Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
  • Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
  • ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)
  • Current BLS CPR certification
  • Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
  • Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month

Qualifications

  • Experience working autonomously, and experience starting IVs and working with biologic drugs
