Registered Nurse- Infusion Center (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of patient data including status of lab work, patient assessments
• Report changes to referring physician
• Make recommendations for patient care
• Provide patient education; participates in clinic quality improvement process
• Conduct individualized patient assessments, prioritizing the data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition or needs within timeframe specified by client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols.
• Administer medications, infusion therapy, and other appropriate treatments per prescriber orders, and under the supervision of the clinic mid-level provider
• Document, verify and ensure implementation of physician orders, accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Documents patient assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing intervention and progress towards problem resolution.
• Deliver care with appropriate age and cultural competence to specific patient populations according to individualized needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Associate degree in Nursing and current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Must have a current, CPR certification (BLS minimum, including hands-on/in-person assessment).
• Minimum of one years’ experience providing nursing care preferred.
• Infusion experience preferred;
• Telephone, MS Office and computer/keyboard skills required.
• Previous EMR experience preferred.
