Full Time In Home Health Nurse

About the role

NWS is a home health agency focused on serving a very niche population of patients diagnosed with chronic illnesses due to occupational exposures while working for the Department of Energy or their contractors. The staff nurse is responsible for providing skilled in-home care to assigned patients, following established plans of care while maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled in-home care to all patients assigned to their caseload
• Follow established plans of care
• Work both independently and with a team, sometimes with minimal supervision
• Maintain a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Requirements

• Valid RN license in good standing with the state board of nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a related healthcare field
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation and valid insurance
• Current CPR certification and TB clearance

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written instructions related to the established plan of care
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
