Full-Time Health Unit Clerk (HUC)

About the role

Full-Time HUC position in a new state‑of‑the‑art 132‑bed behavioral health facility. The role offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a Monday‑Friday schedule. Prairie St. John's provides inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults, and is accredited by The Joint Commission. More than 4,000 patients receive care each year at the facility. Responsibilities

• Organizes assigned activities in order to complete them in a timely fashion.
• Assists in organizing the unit and nurses’ stations.
• Helps direct patient flow, retrieves charts from the physician’s offices, tracks patient lab work and other documents; and monitors the admission lab turnaround
