Full Time Groundskeeper | Airlie Hotel + Conference Center | Warrenton, VA

Responsibilities

• Mow grounds weekly using commercial zero-turn mowers.
• Weed eating, trimming, and brush removal.
• Daily cleanup of walkways, decks, and grounds using leaf blowers, brooms, and hand tools.
• Leaf and debris removal.
• Tree cleanup, cutting wood for fireplaces, and hauling/stacking wood in storage areas.
• Operate chainsaws, wood splitters, and hand tools to process and distribute firewood.
• Assist with building maintenance tasks, including digging trenches for pipe/wiring installation or repairs.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for room or building remodeling.
• Provide guest services support, including luggage handling.
• Snow removal from walkways and roads, including sanding and de-icing.
• Set and light fireplaces in meeting rooms.

Requirements

• Experience operating commercial grounds equipment, including zero-turn mowers and power tools.
• Ability to work weekends and nights as required by weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
