Full Time Grocery Merchandiser - Clearwater, FL

About the role

The Grocery Merchandiser will manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. This position requires merchandising, consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Location: Clearwater, FL (within a 40-60 mile radius).

Responsibilities

• Sell, merchandise, and gain/maintain product distribution within a variety of accounts
• Ensure clients' products are well stocked; order if product is low or out of stock
• Use mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication
• Switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams
• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams
• Order products, work product to shelves from new orders, and conduct audits in grocery stores
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory
• Verify accurate representation of clients' products on store shelves
• Maintain a safe working environment and professional appearance
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day (up to 50 pounds)
• Work independently in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision
• Comply with store team guidelines and attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver License
• Proof of Automobile insurance
• Reliable phone (within 5 years old) with service and internet for daily communication
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus

Pay

$20 hourly, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Schedule

Full time, 37.5 - 40 hours per week with steady and consistent scheduled working hours and available route flexibility.
