Full Time Ginna's Cafe Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare candy and fudge products and sell to customers
• Perform all Ginna’s restaurant and Fuzziwigs Candy Shop functions, which may include deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge and other duties as assigned
• Avoid food safety violations by following State and Local Ordinances
• Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines
• Aid in training new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists and Standard Operating Guidelines
• Manage and support side work, daily and detail cleaning schedules, opening and closing procedures
• Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
• Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels’ policies and procedures
• Add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Write routine reports and correspondence
• Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization
• Prepare many different types of food, drinks and ingredients

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

• Sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
• Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Compensation

Compensation for this position starts at $16.00 per hour.
