About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our team in Oakhurst, NJ. This is a general gastroenterology role that includes hospital duties and shared call (1:9). The position offers a competitive base salary for new hires, an early partnership track, and the opportunity to buy into ownership and equity of the surgical center. The practice, Monmouth Gastroenterology, consists of 9 physicians and 3 midlevel providers who handle sub-specialty consults, allowing you to focus on procedures and office-based patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide general gastroenterology care, including procedures and office visits
- Participate in shared call (1:9)
- Round at two hospitals: Jersey Shore University Medical Center (Hackensack Meridian) and Monmouth Medical Center (RWJ)
Requirements
- Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in General Gastroenterology
- Active medical license
- DEA and CDS (assistance available for procurement if needed)
