Responsibilities

• Serve as a skilled, reliable presence across all classrooms (infants through after-school age)
• Build trusting relationships with children and families school-wide
• Collaborate with classroom teams and communicate professionally with staff and leadership
• Bring calm, confidence, and joy into every classroom you enter
• Step into any room — as lead or support — and maintain Goddard's standards for safety, nurturing, and engagement

Requirements

• Have hands-on experience across multiple early childhood age groups (infant through pre-K strongly preferred)
• Are adaptable, emotionally steady, and genuinely energized by variety
• Earn trust quickly—with children, families, and colleagues
• Bring dependability and professionalism every single day
• Meet Virginia state licensing and background check requirements
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
